The Duxbury High School (DHS) Sailing Team will host its third Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on April 11 from 7-9 p.m. at Duxbury Bay Maritime School (DBMS). The event will feature an array of wines and beers to sample, as well as unique items and services for auction, donated by local businesses and team families. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased directly from sailing team members or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Funds raised at the event will be donated to DBMS, which both hosts and sponsors the team. Costs incurred by DBMS during the course of the season far exceed the user fee charged to DHS athletes.

DHS sailors hold serial titles and have competed at the regional, state and national events. The team is led by winning coaches Chris Lash, DBMS Director of Junior Sailing, and Matt Smith, DBMS Director of Fleet Services. DBMS has been recognized by US Sailing, the national governing body of the sport, for providing exemplary training and educational programs consistent with the curriculum standards of the US Sailing Training Department. The DHS sailing team hosts the wine tasting and silent auction to acknowledge the outstanding support and training it receives, and to restore funds provided by DBMS to keep the team running.

The 3rd Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction will be held in Clifford Hall at DBMS, affording a stunning view. With a cap of 225 attendees, this event is designed to offer a relaxed and enjoyable evening in an exceptional location. Please order your tickets early and support DHS Sailing.
