The Duxbury Fire Department was busy on Monday morning, as slippery roads caused two accidents.
Fire crews responded to a rollover accident on Church Street early Monday morning. After arriving at the scene, crews reported several areas covered in black ice.
Crews also responded to a car that slid into the woods on Route 53 near Basset Brook. The car slide on black ice and hit a telephone pole. NStar crews were notified about the snapped pole. Two patients were transported to Jordan Hospital by Duxbury paramedics.
