NEWS-_Possible_AbductorDuxbury Police are searching for a man who approached a young girl walking her dog on Saturday. The girl reported to police that she was walking her dog on Washington Street near Surplus Street on Saturday, Sept. 28, when a man in a vehicle abruptly pulled over and approached her, asking her about her dog. The girl then ran home and the man drove away in the direction of Hall’s Corner, according to the report. The girl said the man did not make any attempt to grab her or get her into his vehicle.
The male is described as a being between 25 and 35 years old and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a Washington Redskins logo. He was driving a four door American sedan with rust on the fenders and rear bumper.
Police are hoping to identify the subject in order to determine whether this was a criminal incident or just an odd occurrence. Anyone who has information regarding this incident or the identity of the man should contact the Duxbury Police Departmnet at 781-934-5656.
