The Duxbury boys’ swimming and diving team duplicated the efforts of their female counterparts by taking first place at the Patriot League Championships over the weekend in Quincy. After suffering their first league defeat in years, the Dragons bounced back to demolish the competition by finishing with 374 points, beating Middleboro by 137 points.
Mike Tougas placed third in the diving competition with 135 points, while Ryan Scanlon took fourth with 120 and Reilly Keating-Wood was fifth with 113.

The 200IM and 500-yard freestyle went to Tonaszuck, while Wilson took the 100 fly and 100 backstroke events. The boys also snared victories in two of the three relays. The 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays of Tonaszuck, Mike Connelly, Wilson, and co-captain Arthur Su easily cruised to first place, earning them Patriot League All-Stars honors.
