Nicholas Palmer returns to conduct the 50-piece Evenings Under the Stars Festival Orchestra in an exciting program of classical and popular music from Ravel, Bernstein, Williams, the Beatles and others. The highlight of the first half of the program is Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G, featuring Tian Lu, the 2008 Duxbury Music Festival Solo Competition winner. The second half of the program includes John Williams’ theme from E.T., Leroy Anderson’s Trumpeter’s Lullaby, music from West Side Story and the Best of the Beatles.
