|McKinley runs 6th in league championships|

The 2008 Patriot League cross-country championship was held last week on Silver Lakeâ€™s newly designed 3.1K course.
Shauna McNiff of Hingham dominated the girlsâ€™ race with a winning time of 18:35, while Whitman-Hanson took home the team title.Â Duxburyâ€™s Robin Radar was 21st in a time of 22:13 to lead the sixth-place Lady Dragons.
Taylor Sullivan (16:01) won the highly competitive boysâ€™ race that featured seven runners who ran under 17:00. Duxburyâ€™s Jonathan McKinley was sixth overall with a time of 16:44.Â The Whitman-Hanson Panthers took home the team crown with Duxbury placing fourth.â€¨â€¨League All-Star awards were presented to Robin Radar, Mark Brust, Billy Jewel and Jonathan McKinley, while Anne Steele, Lauren Bittrich, Greg Bray and Paul Dacey received honorable mention.â€¨â€¨Both DuxburyÂ cross-country teams will compete this Saturday at the Division III meet at Franklin Park, with a top-five finish qualifying either team for a chance to move onto the State meet the following week at the same Franklin Park venue.
