Brayden Minihan lost his match to one the area’s top players in Alex Chin, 6-1/6-1, while Dan Pannell played a tough match at #2 singles before losing 6-4/6-3 to Chandler Semjan.

TJ Scholberg had his hands full at #3, as he lost to Janjay Rau 6-1/6-0.{sidebar id=1}

The lone Duxbury win came from a good first doubles performance from Stefan Seman and Kevin Scott over Ryan Johnson and John Ripple, while Connor Dunphy and James Rich lost to Oliver Alderman and Jeff Ulchek in two tough sets, 6-3/7-5.

The Dragons had an easier time with Randolph on Thursday, as they blanked the Blue Devils, 5-0. Duxbury got strong play at #2 doubles from Andrew Pierce and Mike Latorre in their varsity debut.{sidebar id=6}
