straight loss… Senior captain Bethany Nardone (DHS ’04) and her Babson College women’s lacrosse team knocked off Smith, 20-10, on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Beavers, ranked seventh in the country by the IWLCA, improved to 7-1 overall and 1-0 in the NEWMAC conference… Babson College junior pitcher Peter Bizinkauskas (DHS ’05) came on in relief in the seventh inning of the Beavers’ 17-7 win over the Coast Guard Academy and struck out two batters. Earlier in the week Bizinkauskas went 6-1/3 innings and allowed just one run, but didn’t get the win as Babson took 11 innings to earn a 2-1 decision over Suffolk… Freshman Leigh Tedeschi (DHS ’07) scored two goals and assisted on another, as the Falcons knocked off St. Anselm’s, 13-9, on Saturday in Manchester, NH. Freshman Becca Woods (DHS ’07) also managed an assist for Bentley… Bridgewater State junior shortstop Rachael Sprague (DHS ’05) doubled to drive in the winning run, as BSC took a 3-2 win over Clark in the second game of a doubleheader early last week in Worcester. In the first game, sophomore pitcher Jamie Ducinski (DHS ’06) suffered the loss in a 10-5 decision against the hosts… Colby College senior Colin Riggs (DHS ’04) doubled in the Mules’ wild 18-17 decision over Castleton State on Saturday in Chandler, AZ. Bates finished their spring road trip with an 8-2 record, surpassing last year’s win total. Riggs batted .333 on the road trip with one triple, 4 doubles and 8 RBI’s… Rochester Institute handed Ithaca College and junior Alec Siefert (DHS ’05) their first loss of the year in Saturday’s 11-10 OT game. Siefert did his part with 2 goals and an assist… Junior Lexie Marrocco (DHS ’05) scored five goals and added an assist in the University of Richmond’s 17-12 win over UMass and Kara Oloskey (DHS ‘07) in VA. Curry College sophomore Gary Hines (DHS ’06) went five innings, striking out three and allowing just two hits to gain his third win of the season in a 10-1 win over Nichols… Dartmouth senior Kristen Barry (Thayer ’04) scored a pair of goals, but the 20th-ranked Big Green, who also include freshman Broghan Cully (Nobles ’07), was upset by Brown, 8-5, on Saturday in RI… Sophomore Nina Tedeschi (DHS ’06) was credited with an assist in Fairfield’s lacrosse 25-11 rout of Wagner last week… Fairfield junior Chris Ajemian (DHS ’05) registered an assist in the Stag’s 12-4 loss to Hobart on Saturday in CT… Sophomore defenseman Chris Nixon (DHS ’06) was credited with four groundballs in Georgetown’s 11-10 OT win over Navy. It was the fourth straight win for the Hoyas, whose record now stands at 5-2…

Junior Steve Caramello (DHS ’05) scored his 5th and 6th goals of the year, but it wasn’t enough to keep his Hartwick men’s lacrosse team from losing to Stevens Tech, 11-8, last Wednesday. Caramello scored his 7th goal and assisted on another in Hartwick’s 10-8 loss to #9-ranked Nazareth on Saturday… Hobart College freshman Will Tucker (DHS ’07) defeated Nazareth’s Jerry Stocker (NAZ) 6-2/6-1 in the Statesmen’s tennis 7-2 win last Wednesday… Junior defenseman FJ Buckley (DHS ’05) was credited with a groundball in Wheaton’s 14-5 loss to Springfield, while freshman Ben Cederberg (DHS ’07) registered six shots on net. Wheaton freshman Bobby Barry (DHS ’07) also had two shots on net and scooped up five groundballs… Coach Greg DiCenzo (DHS ’94) and his Holy Cross baseball team are 2-0 in Patriot League action after sweeping a doubleheader from Lehigh on Saturday… Junior Peter Antons (DHS ’05) won at #3 doubles, his 11th win in 12 marches, as Indiana took a 4-3 decision over Michigan State in Bloomington, IN on Saturday… Sophomore defenseman Rian Kearney (DHS ‘06) was credited with four groundballs in Roger Williams’ 13-9 loss to WNEC on Saturday in RI… Freshman Kristen Byrne (DHS ’07) is a member of the St. Anselm’s women’s lacrosse team. Byrne has a goal and two assists in four games for the Hawks… Sophomore catcher Jeff Bizinkuaskas (DHS ’06) went 1 for 2 at the plate in Wesleyan’s 5-4 win over Amherst on Saturday… Junior Jeff Gomer (DHS ’05) scored a goal in Wheaton’s 14-5 lacrosse loss to Springfield College over the weekend … Sophomore Matt Fuchs (DHS ’06) scored two goals in Yale’s 11-3 win over Hartford last Tuesday.
