The game was closely contested throughout the first period until Will O’Toole put the Dragons on the scoreboard with two back-to-back goals within the last two minutes of the period, which was quickly followed by a third goal by Matt Saia in the remaining seconds of the period. {sidebar id=1}

The Sea Hawks played a strong second period and appeared to be mounting a rally after scoring with four minutes remaining in the period.  However, the next three minutes saw Duxbury’s Matt Saia, Cam Walsh and Matt O’Neal each scoring in rapid succession thereby extending Duxbury’s lead to the final score of 6-1.  Balancing the performance of the team’s forwards and defensemen was the stellar goaltending of Brett Stuhr.  The team’s accomplishment was equaled by the guidance and leadership that was provided by coaches Tom Hannon and Rich Marcotte throughout the season.  The team is looking forward to the playoffs.{sidebar id=6}
