Hello and thank you for reading! I am honored and privileged to intern at the Duxbury Clipper this summer. I am a Duxbury High School alum of the Class of 2013 and am currently attending Syracuse University as a Television/Radio/Film major. This opportunity at the Clipper allows me to pursue journalism as more than just a hobby — while at DHS, I worked on both The Dragon Flyer, where I served as the political correspondent, and Dragon TV, where I wrote, directed, and hosted our news program. However, journalism is not my only passion: whenever I can find the time, I am an avid actor and comedian. To be frank, I have no idea what I would like to do after I graduate in 2017. Perhaps I’ll run a political satire show like The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Perhaps I’ll perform alongside Kevin Spacey on the Netflix drama House of Cards. Perhaps I’ll still be here at The Clipper. Or, perhaps I’ll live in a box outside of Dunkin Donuts and you all can laugh at my misfortune. Regardless of my future, I am so thankful for the present, as I spend my weekdays at the greatest newspaper in the world: The Duxbury Clipper.
