Over the past few weeks, only a handful of incumbents took out papers at the Town Clerk's office. Moderator Allen Bornheimer, Assessor June Albritton and Planning Board member Harold Moody all started the reelection process over the past two weeks, joining School Committee member Anne Ward and Selectman Betsy Sullivan as the only announced candidates.

Two elected officials whose terms are up in 2008, School Committee member John Magnarelli and Library Trustee Carl Meier, have announced that they aren't running for reelection.

Other candidates up for reelection this year are Planning Board member Angela Scieszka, Housing Authority member Brenda Keohan and Library Trustee James Mandrell.
