The great thing about a computer notebook is that no matter how much you stuff into it, it doesn't get bigger or heavier.

Saturday is the town election. The polls are open until 8:00 p.m. at the middle school. Reporter Adam Swift will be covering the results and posting an update soon after they are announced. I'd suggest checking back between 8:45 and 9:15 p.m. give or take a few.

I think that the people holding the election signs at the entrance to the Middle School from Saint George Street should not stand so close to the street. Some of these people yesterday were children, and it seems like a dangerous place for them to stand, especially without an adult, as the children I saw was holding signs for ML Nichols. Also, the sign holders were so close to the street, that it was hard to see traffic when pulling out. I suggest to the town that they regulate the sign holders to standing in places that aren't so hazardous, and limit the sign holders to adults, not children. Safety first.

Good point Karen.

We don't want a repeat of the tragedy in Randolph. Of course the folks driving by could also use a safety reminder, too.

I tried to cross the road there on Saturday afternoon to take a photo and two cars drove right by without stopping.
